Jerry Garcia

Jerry Garcia (1942–1995) was an American musician, renowned as the principal songwriter, lead guitarist, and vocalist of the rock band Grateful Dead. Co-founding the band during the counterculture of the 1960s, Garcia’s distinctive guitar playing and improvisational talent left an indelible mark on music.
