Alice in chains made only a few albums and they were all excellent. Part of Seattle grunge scene along with Mudhoney, Soundgarden and Nirvana Alice in chains who was led by Layne Stakey Jerry Cantrell Michael Starr and Sean Kinney will always be considered the best of a cool genre of music .
