Akira

Akira is a 1988 Japanese animated cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo. Set in a dystopian 2019, it follows Shōtarō Kaneda, the leader of a biker gang, and his childhood friend Tetsuo Shima. After a motorcycle accident, Tetsuo acquires telekinetic abilities, threatening Neo-Tokyo amid chaos and rebellion.
